When the kingdom’s money runs dry, Julia Roberts is a vain, scheming Queen who decides the fastest solution is to marry a wealthy prince. That plan collides with Snow White, and Lily Collins’s princess is driven from the palace into the company of seven rebellious dwarves. As the Queen uses magic and manipulation to hold on to power, Snow White begins fighting for the throne that was taken from her, with the prince becoming part of the struggle. This retelling of the Grimm story leans into palace intrigue, broad comedy, and ornate fairy-tale pageantry.
