After a devastating injury threatens her career, a struggling young dancer is offered an unexpected path back in the 1960s. Julia Garner is the ambitious performer at the center of the story, suddenly welcomed by a peculiar, well-connected older couple whose interest in her goes beyond generosity. Dianne Wiest and Kevin McNally bring an unsettling polish to the pair, while Jim Sturgess enters the picture as a Broadway producer who can open doors. What begins as a chance at fame pulls her toward darker forces gathering around the people promising to help.
