The Dog Stars

The story

After a pandemic ravages the world’s population, a solitary pilot survives in a Colorado airplane hangar with his dog and a dour gunman he’s come to rely on. Jacob Elordi and Josh Brolin lead Ridley Scott’s adaptation as that hard-won routine — guarded, isolated, and built around an old Cessna — starts to fracture. During one of his flights, a mysterious radio transmission breaks through the silence, sending him out to track the source and test whether anything beyond the hangar is still worth finding.
