Laxman Singh Bisht, a man in a small hill town in northern India who’s dismissed by his neighbors and nicknamed Tubelight, holds fast to one simple belief: keep the faith, and almost anything is possible. Set against the 1962 Sino-Indian War, the film follows Laxman as that conviction is tested by events far larger than his everyday world. Salman Khan is Laxman, with Sohail Khan, Zhu Zhu, and Om Puri among the people who shape the family and community around him.
