Prince of Darkness

FantasyHorror102 min

In a deserted Los Angeles church, a Catholic priest gathers a team of quantum physics students to examine a sealed cylinder hidden for centuries in a monastery cellar. What begins as a strange research problem turns into a siege when the swirling green liquid inside shows signs of intelligence—and of reaching out. As the students try to explain the artifact through science, the church’s old warnings start to look less symbolic and more immediate. Cut off from help and trapped with something they barely understand, they face a force tied to Satan itself. Donald Pleasence and Victor Wong appear in John Carpenter’s collision of religion, physics, and apocalyptic horror.
