The Girl Next Door
ComedyDramaRomance110 min
Emile Hirsch is Matthew Kidman, a high-achieving high school senior with his eye on politics whose carefully mapped future veers off course when he falls for his older neighbor, Danielle. Elisha Cuthbert's Danielle seems to offer Matthew a way out of his buttoned-up routine, until he learns she has a past in adult films. As that past catches up with her, Matthew is pulled into a mess of school pressure, sexual awakening, and bad decisions, with Timothy Olyphant's Kelly looming as a slick connection to the world Danielle is trying to leave behind.
