The Signal
DramaMysterySci-FiThriller97 min
On a cross-country road trip, Nic and his friends take a detour after a mysterious hacker who cracked MIT’s network leads them to an isolated stretch of desert. When everything goes dark, Brenton Thwaites’ Nic wakes in a sealed isolation unit with no clear sense of what happened. Laurence Fishburne is Dr. Wallace Damon, the controlled, unreadable figure questioning him from behind protective gear, while Olivia Cooke’s Haley and Beau Knapp’s Jonah remain part of the missing timeline Nic is trying to piece together. What begins as a tech-fueled chase turns into a locked-down mystery built around surveillance, confinement, and a steadily stranger set of answers.
