Operation Mincemeat

DramaWar128 min

In 1943, as the Allies prepare to invade Sicily, two British intelligence officers devise an improbable deception: place false invasion plans on a corpse and let Nazi spies discover it off the coast of Spain. Colin Firth is Ewen Montagu, the naval intelligence officer pushing the operation forward, working alongside Matthew Macfadyen’s Charles Cholmondeley as the scheme turns on forged papers, careful timing, and the hope of steering Hitler’s attention toward Greece instead of Sicily. Kelly Macdonald and Penelope Wilton appear in a wartime story built from secret planning, political pressure, and a dead man at the center of a military gamble.
