The Taking of Deborah Logan

FantasyHorrorMysteryThriller90 min

A documentary crew heads to rural Virginia to film Deborah Logan, an elderly woman whose Alzheimer’s is getting worse, and to follow the strain it puts on her daughter and their home. At first the camera catches confusion, agitation, and the routines of care. Then Deborah’s behavior turns harder to explain: violent outbursts, strange disappearances, and moments that suggest something other than illness is taking hold. As the crew keeps recording, what begins as a medical portrait becomes an investigation into a buried past and a presence in the house that seems to be moving closer. Jill Larson and Anne Ramsay anchor the escalating crisis.
