David Boreanaz is Angel, a vampire cursed with a soul who leaves Sunnydale for Los Angeles, where he starts taking on cases tied to demons, monsters, and people caught in the supernatural crossfire. As he tries to atone for his past, each investigation pulls him deeper into a city full of occult threats and moral gray areas. A spin-off from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the series expands that world beyond high school horror, with Charisma Carpenter and Alexis Denisof joining Angel's circle as his mission grows larger and stranger.
