Kento Yamazaki is Yuki Hase, a high school student determined to get closer to his isolated classmate, Kaori Fujimiya. Haruna Kawaguchi's Kaori keeps everyone at a distance for one reason: every new Monday, she forgets the friends she made the week before. Even after she explains why she refuses to get close to anyone, Yuki keeps coming back, trying to build a connection that has to begin again and again. The story stays close to their school life and the fragile rhythm of a friendship that only lasts one week at a time.
