Brendan Fraser is Mo Folchart, a father whose voice can pull characters out of books when he reads aloud. After that gift brings a ruthless villain from a rare fantasy novel into the world, Mo and his daughter (Eliza Bennett) go searching for the long-lost copy that could help reunite their family and set things right. Their trail runs through collectors, old allies, and the strange fallout of fiction made flesh, as storybook figures and creatures begin turning up far from the page.
