Portlandia

Comedy30 min per episode

In and around Portland, Oregon, everyday routines turn into sketch-comedy dead ends, social rituals, and tiny obsessions. The show jumps from one set of characters to another as locals argue over artisanal standards, neighborhood etiquette, activist causes, and the fine points of taste, turning the city’s hipster reputation into the joke and the setting. Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein appear across the sketches as shop owners, musicians, earnest idealists, and people taking themselves far too seriously. Instead of one continuing story, each episode builds a comic portrait of a place where identity, politics, and lifestyle choices can make even a trip to brunch or the bookstore spiral into absurdity.
