Peggy Sue Got Married

ComedyDramaFantasyRomance103 min

At her 25th high school reunion, Peggy Sue faints and wakes up in 1960, back in her senior year with a chance to revisit the choices that led to her unhappiness. Kathleen Turner is Peggy Sue, moving through teenage rituals with an adult’s memory of marriage, disappointment, and roads not taken. In that earlier life, Nicolas Cage is the boyfriend still waiting in the wings. Directed by Francis Ford Coppola, the film folds suburban nostalgia, romantic doubt, and a light fantasy premise into Peggy Sue’s second pass through family dinners, school dances, and the future everyone assumes she’ll choose.
