Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery

ActionAdventureComedyCrimeSci-Fi94 min

Frozen in the 1960s, British super-spy Austin Powers is thawed out in the 1990s when his old nemesis Dr. Evil resurfaces with another scheme for world domination. Mike Myers pulls double duty as both the velvet-suited swinger and his bald, deadpan counterpart, while Elizabeth Hurley’s Vanessa Kensington is the capable partner tasked with bringing Austin up to speed in a very different era. The story turns James Bond-style espionage into a string of broad gags, secret lairs, and culture-clash jokes, with Austin stumbling through modern life as Dr. Evil builds his strange criminal empire.
