The House by the Cemetery

HorrorMystery87 min

After a colleague’s murder-suicide, Dr. Norman Boyle moves his family from New York City to a Boston mansion so he can continue researching the home’s previous owner. Once they settle in, Norman’s young son Bob begins seeing a mysterious girl who warns him that something inside the house is dangerous. Catriona MacColl and Paolo Malco are the parents drawn deeper into the mansion’s history, while the film turns its basement, stairways, and locked rooms into sources of dread. An Italian horror from 1981, it mixes a family-in-peril setup with occult research, violent deaths, and the sense that the house itself is hiding the worst of it.
