Serial Mom

ComedyCrimeThriller95 min

Beverly is the picture of the perfect homemaker: devoted to her husband, protective of her two children, and unshakable about manners, morals, and neighborhood order. Kathleen Turner gives that spotless suburban routine a lethal streak as Beverly starts answering minor offenses with murder, while Sam Waterston is the cheerful husband who sees only an ideal family life. John Waters turns polite middle-class America into satire, as tabloid attention and Beverly’s fascination with serial killers push a tidy household toward chaos.
