One Cut of the Dead
ComedyDramaHorror97 min
A zombie movie shoot in an abandoned warehouse goes violently off script when actual zombies descend on the cast and crew. Takayuki Hamatsu is part of the frantic production at the center of the chaos, with Yuzuki Akiyama and Harumi Shuhama caught in the same collapsing set of performances, panic, and blood-soaked mishaps. Built around a film-within-a-film setup, the story keeps one foot in backstage comedy and the other in splattery horror, using the warehouse’s rumor-heavy past as the spark for the outbreak.
