Unsane

DramaHorrorMysteryThriller99 min

A woman’s attempt to report a stalker spirals into something worse when she is involuntarily committed to a mental institution and starts seeing her greatest fear inside its walls. Claire Foy is caught between mounting panic and a system that treats her objections as part of the problem, while the people around her become harder to trust. Joshua Leonard’s presence keeps the question alive: is the threat she sees actually there, or is she unraveling under pressure. Directed by Steven Soderbergh, Unsane turns its hospital setting into a claustrophobic maze of doubt, surveillance, and confinement.
