In a sleek prison where inmates can shorten their sentences by testing emotion-altering drugs, one participant begins to suspect the experiments aren’t as straightforward as they seem. Miles Teller is the prisoner at the center of the trials, while Chris Hemsworth’s smiling pharmaceutical visionary oversees each dose from a glass-walled compound that feels more like a retreat than a cell block. As the drugs manipulate fear, desire, and attachment, the film turns a futuristic setup into a closed-system story about control, compliance, and what happens when chemistry starts rewriting human behavior.
