ActionAdventureCrimeThriller88 min

In the months before Hong Kong’s handover to China, Detective Sergeant Ma Jun is a hard-charging cop whose violent arrest tactics keep putting him at odds with police protocol. Donnie Yen is Jun, working with undercover officer Wilson (Louis Koo) to bring down three Vietnamese brothers running a smuggling ring. As witnesses are targeted and evidence starts disappearing, Jun pushes the case with less and less patience for procedure. The story moves through informants, police stakeouts, and crowded Hong Kong streets, with Ma Jun’s pursuit narrowing toward the gang at the center of the investigation.
