GLOW
ComedyDrama34 min per episode
In 1980s Los Angeles, a group of women with stalled careers are recruited for a scrappy wrestling program that rebrands them as the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. Alison Brie is an out-of-work actress chasing one more break, with Betty Gilpin alongside her as the cast around them grows into a clashing ensemble of would-be stars, oddballs, and newcomers. Marc Maron hangs over the production as the disheveled director trying to shape chaos into television. Backstage rehearsals, on-camera gimmicks, and big hair 1980s styling matter as much as the matches themselves.
