ActionAdventureSci-Fi131 min

When giant Kaiju begin rising from a breach beneath the Pacific, a battered Earth fights back with Jaegers, skyscraper-sized robots piloted by pairs of mentally linked fighters. Charlie Hunnam is Raleigh Becket, a former pilot pulled back into combat alongside Mako Mori (Rinko Kikuchi), an untested recruit training for her first mission. With Idris Elba's Stacker Pentecost overseeing a dwindling defense force, Guillermo del Toro stages the war in hangars, command centers, and coastal cities where metal giants meet monsters head-on.
