Sully

Drama96 min

After US Airways Flight 1549 loses power over New York in January 2009, Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger (Tom Hanks) lands the plane on the Hudson River and becomes the face of the “Miracle on the Hudson.” Aaron Eckhart is co-pilot Jeff Skiles, beside him in the cockpit as the emergency unfolds. Clint Eastwood’s film follows the rescue and the aftermath, as public praise gives way to an official investigation that questions Sully’s split-second decisions and puts his reputation, judgment, and career under scrutiny.
