Sherlock
CrimeDramaMysteryThriller89 min per episode
In present-day London, brilliant but abrasive detective Sherlock Holmes turns impossible crimes into private investigations, spotting patterns and motives the police miss. Newly returned from military service, John Watson becomes his flatmate and reluctant partner, pulled from ordinary life into cases involving serial murders, blackmail, disappearances, and elaborate deceptions. Each mystery begins with a baffling scene and quickly widens into something more dangerous as Sherlock’s deductions race ahead of everyone around him. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman anchor a modern take on Conan Doyle in which old Holmes clues and rivalries are recast through phones, blogs, and the speed of contemporary city life.
