Former Army soldier Chris Vaughn comes home expecting a fresh start and finds his small town overtaken by crime, drugs, and a casino operation that seems to reach into everything. Dwayne Johnson is Chris, who answers by stepping into local law enforcement and trying to force out the corruption from the inside. Johnny Knoxville is the old friend who joins him as the pushback turns violent. Built around one man's campaign to reclaim the place he grew up in, the film follows Chris as he goes up against connected operators, compromised authorities, and a town that has learned to live with both.
