After 14 years in prison, Thilagavarman returns to the outside world on parole with the past still hanging over him. His release quickly turns into a pursuit when Nandhini, a police officer already marked by scandal, fixes on him as the leading suspect in a string of murders. A cat-and-mouse chase takes shape as suspicion closes in, with each move by Thilagavarman shadowed by an investigator whose own standing is far from clean.
