Brie Larson is Grace, a young supervisor at a group home for at-risk teenagers, where daily crises and strict routines leave little room for her own past. She and John Gallagher Jr.’s Mason, her co-worker and closest support, keep the house running until the arrival of a gifted new resident brings buried memories to the surface. Inside the facility, small moments of trust sit alongside sudden outbursts, and the staff’s effort to protect the teens keeps colliding with the limits of what they can actually fix.
