In Bristol, a shifting group of sixth-form friends lurches through parties, hookups, family blowups, and school pressures while trying to figure out who they are. Each episode moves close to one teen’s point of view, so private battles come into focus: depression, eating disorders, bullying, addiction, unstable homes, and the fallout from reckless choices. Friendships form and fracture as secrets spread through the group, parents fail them in different ways, and nights that start as escape turn into consequences they can’t shrug off by morning. The comedy is sharp and often cruel, but the series keeps returning to the same question: how these teenagers survive growing up when almost none of them feel safe, understood, or in control.
