Holy Man

ComedyDrama114 min

Home-shopping executive Ricky is desperate for a hit when he crosses paths with G, an enigmatic stranger whose calm, sermon-like patter turns televised retail into something close to a revival meeting. Jeff Goldblum is Ricky, a company man trying to channel G’s sudden appeal, while Eddie Murphy brings a polished, elusive charisma to the would-be holy figure at the center of the frenzy. Kelly Preston’s Kate is caught in the middle as G’s on-air presence begins to reshape the workplace and the lives around it. The film threads satire, romance, and religious imagery through the bright, commercial machinery of American television.
