Tetris
DocumentaryDramaThriller120 min
In 1988, American video game salesman Henk Rogers discovers Tetris and heads into the Soviet Union to secure the rights before a tangle of competing deals shuts him out. Taron Egerton is Rogers, chasing contracts through meetings with businessmen, lawyers, and Soviet officials, while Alexey Pajitnov (Nikita Efremov), the game's creator, sees his invention caught in a fight he doesn't control. As Rogers moves between Japan, the U.S., and Moscow, the battle over handheld rights pulls in Nintendo, copyright disputes, and the pressures of doing business behind the Iron Curtain.
