I Kill Giants
DramaFantasyThriller106 min
Madison Wolfe is Barbara Thorson, a teenage outsider who insists she’s the only thing standing between her town and a coming giant attack. At school she’s prickly, isolated, and in constant trouble; at home, family strain keeps pressing in. Sydney Wade’s Sophia, a new student, tries to befriend her, while a school counselor played by Zoe Saldana starts to look past Barbara’s elaborate stories. The film moves between everyday school life and Barbara’s private mythology, where runes, traps, and giant-slaying rules give shape to a world that feels much larger, and more threatening, than anyone around her can see.
