Dalgliesh
CrimeDramaMystery45 min per episode
In 1970s Britain, detective Adam Dalgliesh moves from one disturbing case to the next, bringing a poet’s reserve to scenes shaped by fear, grief, and buried resentment. Each investigation begins with a death that unsettles a tightly drawn world—a hospital ward, a school, a family home—and forces Dalgliesh to sort through lies, private loyalties, and old wounds. As he questions suspects, the mystery widens beyond simple motive into the pressure each victim placed on the people around them. Bertie Carvel plays Dalgliesh as a quiet, watchful presence, following small inconsistencies until a hidden life starts to come into view.
