Defendor

ActionAdventureComedyCrimeDrama101 min

Arthur Poppington has no superpowers, just homemade gadgets and a stubborn belief that someone has to protect the city's innocents. Woody Harrelson is Arthur, who reinvents himself as the vigilante Defendor and takes aim at a crooked cop and a mob boss feeding on the city's criminal underworld. As his self-appointed crusade pulls him deeper into danger, he forms an unexpected bond with Kat Dennings's young sex worker, one of the people caught in that violence. The film keeps Arthur's handmade heroism side by side with the bruised, street-level world he's trying to clean up.
