Battle Royale II: Requiem

ActionAdventureDramaThriller133 min

Three years after the Battle Royale program breaks down, the government rounds up another class of ninth graders and sends them to an island with a new target: Shuya Nanahara, now the leader of the anti-state group Wild Seven. Tatsuya Fujiwara is Shuya, no longer a hunted student but a terrorist figure the state wants erased. As the class is armed and pushed into a military-style mission, the sequel shifts from a forced game to open conflict between teenage conscripts and Shuya’s camp. Aki Maeda returns as well, linking this chapter back to the original survivors.
