Goal II: Living the Dream
Drama115 min
Santiago Muñez has left Newcastle United for Real Madrid, but the transfer that should mark his arrival at the top of the game brings new pressure on and off the pitch. Kuno Becker is Santiago, now navigating sudden fame, competition inside one of the world’s biggest clubs, and a growing distance from his fiancée Roz, who remains back home with her nursing career. Reunited with friend and rival Gavin Harris, Alessandro Nivola’s star forward is competing for the same place in the squad. Real Madrid players, including David Beckham, appear throughout as Santiago’s personal life starts to strain under his rising profile.
