Bloodhounds of Broadway

ComedyDramaRomance93 min

On New Year’s Eve in 1928 New York, four Damon Runyon tales collide among speakeasies, gamblers, gangsters, and uptown partygoers. Matt Dillon’s Regret is a gambler with bloodhounds on his trail after he becomes a murder suspect, while Randy Quaid is Feet Samuels, a hapless bettor who has already sold his body to science when he decides he’d rather stay alive. Around them, a socialite’s party is thrown off by a dead parrot, a wounded man needs a blood transfusion before midnight, and songs and nightclub turns thread through the night’s underworld bustle.
