In 2028 Detroit, critically injured cop Alex Murphy is rebuilt by OmniCorp as RoboCop, a prototype meant to bring battlefield robotics into American policing. Joel Kinnaman is Murphy, a husband and father whose new body turns him into both law-enforcement weapon and corporate product. As OmniCorp pushes for a RoboCop in every city, Murphy's human memory and sense of justice keep pressing against the machine built around him, with Michael Keaton among the faces of the company behind the rollout.
