Bleed for This

Drama117 min

World champion boxer Vinny Pazienza is riding a run of success in Rhode Island when a near-fatal car crash leaves him with a severe spinal injury and the prospect of never walking again. Miles Teller is Vinny, a loud, driven fighter who refuses to see his career as finished, while Aaron Eckhart’s Kevin Rooney becomes the trainer willing to help him work toward an improbable return to the ring. Ben Younger’s film stays close to the physical grind of rehab, the bruising rhythms of the boxing world, and the stubborn streak that turned Pazienza into one of the sport’s most talked-about comeback stories.
