My Life as a Zucchini

AnimationComedyDramaFamilyRomance70 min

After his mother’s death, a boy nicknamed Zucchini is taken by a kind police officer to a foster home filled with children his own age. At first the orphanage feels strange and guarded, but new friendships slowly pull him into its routines, rivalries, and small moments of joy as he starts looking for a family he can trust. Told through stop-motion animation, the film stays close to a child’s point of view, with grief, humor, and first crushes sharing the same small spaces. Gaspard Schlatter and Sixtine Murat are among the voices in the original French cast.
