13 Going on 30

ComedyFantasyRomance98 min

After a disastrous 13th birthday party in 1987, Jenna Rink wakes up in 2004 as a 30-year-old New York magazine editor with the apartment, wardrobe, boyfriend, and social status she used to daydream about. Jennifer Garner is Jenna, still thinking like a seventh grader as she tries to make sense of office politics, adult relationships, and a life that suddenly belongs to her. Mark Ruffalo's Matt, the childhood best friend she left behind, reappears in this version of her future as a photographer. What starts as a wish fulfilled quickly turns into a look at who Jenna became while she was busy wanting to grow up.
