Casino Royale
ActionAdventureComedy131 min
When enemy agents and double-crosses pile up around a dangerous gambler known as Le Chiffre, Britain brings a retired Sir James Bond back into service to steady a collapsing spy operation. What follows is less a clean mission than a chain of mix-ups, rival schemes, and mistaken identities, as Bond and a swarm of agents circle a casino where everyone seems to be running a separate game. Peter Sellers and David Niven move through a plot crowded with kidnappings, seductions, secret plans, and escalating chaos. The story keeps turning espionage into farce, with each attempt to regain control making the mission stranger.
