Ghost Town
ComedyDramaFantasyRomance102 min
Ricky Gervais is Bertram Pincus, a cranky Manhattan dentist whose brief brush with death leaves him able to see ghosts — and they all want favors. The loudest of them is Frank Herlihy (Greg Kinnear), a recently deceased charmer determined to stop his widow Gwen from remarrying. Dragged into Frank’s scheme, Bertram finds himself orbiting Gwen, with Téa Leoni as the woman caught between an abrasive living man and an unusually persistent dead one. The setup turns a hostile loner, a meddling ghost, and an unwanted second sight into an afterlife comedy tangled up with romance.
