The Tunnel

HorrorMysteryThriller94 min

An investigation into a government cover-up sends a journalist and her crew into Sydney’s abandoned train tunnels, where the search for evidence turns into a hunt for whatever is moving in the dark beneath the city. Shot in a documentary style, the film assembles interviews and recovered footage as the team pushes deeper into the sealed rail network. Bel Deliá is the reporter leading the story, with Andy Rodoreda among the crew following her underground. As the missing pieces start to line up, the tunnels themselves become part of the mystery, along with the sense that someone wanted this stretch of Sydney buried and forgotten.
