Elijah Wood is Frank, the withdrawn owner of a Los Angeles mannequin shop whose buried violent urges begin pushing back to the surface. When Anna (Nora Arnezeder), a young artist preparing an exhibition, comes to him for help finding mannequins, their growing connection gives shape to an obsession he can no longer contain. As Frank moves between his cramped storefront, the art world around Anna, and the city streets he prowls at night, the film stays close to his unraveling mind, mixing stalking, murder, and graphic gore with the loneliness at the center of his life.
