Bad Asses on the Bayou
ActionAdventureComedyDrama85 min
Frank Vega heads to Louisiana with Bernie Pope for what should be a wedding weekend, but the trip turns into a rescue mission when their friend Carmen Gutierrez is kidnapped and the celebration gives way to violence. Danny Trejo is Frank, the gruff ex-veteran who settles problems with his fists, while Danny Glover’s Bernie brings a looser, drier presence beside him. Moving from wedding plans to bayou backroads, the film follows the pair as they push through local trouble and go looking for their missing friend.
