ActionAdventureCrimeDocumentaryDramaMysteryThriller114 min
In Rio de Janeiro, three boys who pick through a sprawling garbage dump think they’ve stumbled onto a bit of luck when they find a wallet in the trash. Instead, the discovery puts them on the run from the police and sends them scrambling to figure out why so many people want it back. Rickson Tevez, Eduardo Luis, and Gabriel Weinstein are the boys at the center of the chase, with Rooney Mara and Martin Sheen appearing in the adult world around them. What begins in the dump widens into a hunt across the city as the boys follow the wallet’s clues and try to uncover the wrong connected to it.
