Incantation
HorrorMystery111 min
Six years after breaking a religious taboo, Li Ronan is trying to keep a curse from reaching her daughter. Hsuan-yen Tsai is Ronan, a mother piecing together what happened through home videos, recordings, and fragments of an earlier investigation, while her young daughter (Sin-Ting Huang) becomes the target of whatever she awakened. Inspired by a case involving a family who believed they were possessed by spirits, this Taiwanese found-footage horror threads ritual, folk belief, and the camera itself into Ronan’s search for what has attached itself to her family.
