In a brutal, myth-soaked version of medieval Britain, a young Fey woman named Nimue is driven from home and handed a sword tied to an old prophecy. Marked by grief and hunted by zealots who are wiping out her people, she sets out to find Merlin, the one man who may know what the weapon is meant for. Along the way, her path crosses with a mercenary Arthur, and her private mission turns into something larger as refugees, rebels, and rival powers begin to gather around her. Katherine Langford leads this reworking of Arthurian legend, where every step of the quest pulls Nimue deeper into war, belief, and the making of a symbol.
