In Warsaw, a drifting young man named Jacek gets into a taxi, directs driver Waldemar toward an isolated spot, and commits a murder that seems to have no clear motive. Mirosław Baka is Jacek, watched at close range as the crime gives way to arrest, prison, and the legal system closing in. Krzysztof Globisz's lawyer enters on the other side of the case, linking the street violence of the killing to the colder procedures that follow. The film stays fixed on bodies, city grime, and the uneasy distance between private brutality and state punishment.
